Additional Pioneer CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Wireless Adapter Information

This CD-BTB200 is designed to work only with Pioneer ""Bluetooth Adapter Ready"" Navigation systems, AV Receivers and CD Players. Bluetooth Wireless Technology allows these Pioneer headunits to communicate automatically with and treat most compatible cellular phones as source devices within a given range. Simply set up a user ID, and you can make and take calls, use call waiting, talk, and hang up- all while your phone remains in your bag, purse or pocket.

What Customers Say About Pioneer CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Wireless Adapter:

I ordered this after owning my AVIC-D3 for two years and some months. I use this in conjunction with my iPhone 3G. One feature I absolutely love is the ability to use BT audio directly to the stereo. Compared to the older Pioneer BT solutions, this works beautifully. By the time I received the unit, the price had dropped $10. I placed the mic on the edge of the headliner right next to the rearview mirror. I strongly regret not buying it sooner. It doesn't support the phonebook transfer, and I don't always get a caller ID on the screen, but with my current setup, it's easy just to glance at the phone instead.

This allows me to angle it towards me and provides the best sound pickup. Anyone I talk to doesn't even know I'm in the car-- It's just that good. There is no discernable difference between the wireless and wired audio. The only issue I had was that I purchased this for $106 with 2-day Prime shipping. I asked Amazon if they would refund the difference to me, but it's not within their policy.Bottom line: I'd recommend this adapter to anyone.

After hours of setup I was never able to get the mp3 of my Muzic cell phone to connect as an mp3 player. It works great for the phone call feature but not for music.

I have to try to connect 2x everytime I get in the car before it works. Was not able to upload contact either. Maybe it's a Sprint, Samsung Q issue.

es un excelente handsfree para andar en el carro, eh utilizado muchos otros y este es el mejor, muy recomendado

I am hoping when Apple updates the iPhone to 3.0 that it will fix this bug. Even though it is paired and registered, the menu for direct dial, log, and phone book only show up every once in a while.

I was able to pair it and register my iPhone fairly easily. I got this unit to hook up to my new AVH3100.

The problem comes when I try to dial out. The problem is either Pioneer's or Apple's implementation of Bluetooth.

I am able to receive calls over the head unit no problem, it sounds great, and people say I sound just fine when talking to them. While this is a problem, I can still use my iPhone to dial, and it goes through the head unit just fine.

All in all it works "good enough".
